Matthew F. Sutton, Managing Partner

Mr. Sutton has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, having been involved in numerous equity capital market and private placement transactions. Prior to joining Lionheart, Mr. Sutton was a Managing Director at CIBC World Markets and served as a Senior Vice President at Oppenheimer & Company, the firm’s Predecessor. While at CIBC, he was responsible for the oversight of the Boston Research Sales organization. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sutton held several capital raising positions for both private and non-profit enterprises.

Mr. Sutton has served on the board of both corporate and non-profit organizations. He has previously served on the Board of Falcon Software as well as the West End House Boys and Girls Club of Allston Brighton. Currently, he is a Board Member on University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation and The Cambridge-Ellis School.

Mr. Sutton earned his MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of Business. He is a cum laude graduate from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a BA in Political Science.
