Tim Long, Vice President

Mr. Long has more than 20 years in mergers & acquisitions and commercial banking, where he participated in transactions involving acquisition and financing of various middle market businesses, venture capital for a start-up software company and various commercial banking transactions.

Prior to joining Lionheart, Mr. Long was Vice President at Gateshead Partners, a private equity firm involved in the acquisition of industrial manufacturing companies. Mr. Long had responsibility for deal sourcing, financing, legal review and operating responsibilities with portfolio companies. Industries included lawn and garden equipment, construction equipment, consumer and industrial components and waste recycling.

Prior to joining Gateshead, Mr. Long was Chief Financial Officer of Ripple Technologies, a start-up software company, securing $3 million in venture capital financing and growing the company to 25 employess. Prior to that, Mr. Long was commercial lender for CoreStates Bank in Philadelphia holding several positions as a lender in the Middle Market group, Healthcare Group, and Financial Institutions group. Mr. Long received formal credit training while at CoreStates Bank.

Mr. Long earned his MBA from the Villanova University and also earned a BS in Accounting from Villanova University. Mr. Long is a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania.
